Rajiv Kaushik
Biography
Rajiv is acting Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) within the CIO Portfolio at the University of Toronto (one of top 20 in the world).He has established an international reputation for leading and managing complex IT organizations and communities. Over the course of his career he has led both Development and Operations and made a significant difference at the University of Toronto, MIT, Kuali Foundation, Florida State University and the corporate Financial Sector. He is a graduate of the EDUCAUSE CIO Leadership Program (2014). In his current role, he is setting up a new PMO at the University which includes rollout of processes, methodologies and much more. The CIO Portfolio operates in a highly decentralized university set up making the job of a PMO very complex and full of challenges and opportunities. Rajiv has also recently been the Program Director for Kuali Student (KS) till its commercialization in 2014.He led a team of over 80 professionals located all over the world developing Enterprise Software for Higher Ed. Under his leadership, KS turned a corner and started to become the next generation student system which many institutions have desired for some time.
