Biography

I am a Lead Data Analyst in the Office of Data, Assessment, and Institutional Research at Kansas State University. My work focuses on institutional reporting, higher education analytics, Power BI development, semantic modeling, data quality, and decision-support initiatives that serve academic and administrative units across the university.

In my current role, I support university-level reporting and analytics related to student success, enrollment, headcounts, retention, graduation, degrees awarded, credit hours, employee data, and other institutional priorities. I work with tools and technologies such as Power BI, SQL, Python, Snowflake, DAX, and advanced Excel to develop scalable reporting solutions, automate recurring reporting processes, and support data-informed decision-making.

I am also involved in enterprise reporting initiatives such as the Wildcat Data Hub, a Power BI organizational app designed to improve access to trusted institutional reports across the university. My work includes developing semantic models, building reporting frameworks, supporting Snowflake-to-Power BI migration efforts, implementing security and governance strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders across academic and administrative units.

My career interests include higher education technology, institutional research, analytics strategy, data governance, responsible use of AI, semantic modeling, scalable business intelligence solutions, and user-centered dashboard design. I am especially interested in using data and technology to improve institutional effectiveness, support student success, and make reliable information more accessible to decision-makers.

I hold a Master of Science in Data Analytics from Kansas State University, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. I have also completed certification in Advanced Data Engineering with Snowflake.
