Ranti Junus

Biography

Ranti Junus earned her MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2001 and works as the Systems Librarian for Electronic Resources at the Michigan State University Libraries. Her main responsibilities include supporting the design and access organization of library materials as well as support in technical and access issues related to electronic services and resources including purchased databases, the online catalog, and other digital resources. She is responsible for assessing and evaluating accessibility issues of MSU Libraries web presence. Part of her work also identifies policy, technical, and programmatic needs of the electronic resources preservation through initiatives such as LOCKSS and Portico projects. She also server as subject selector for the Library & Information Science collections and as library liaison to the Museum Studies program at MSU.
