Ray Gildner

Biography

Raymond F. Gildner holds BS degrees in Geology and in Geophysics, as well as a PhD in Paleontology. He first used the Web for teaching in 1994, when he created an educational website that was adopted by the US Defense Department for overseas schools and is still used at several colleges. A web-based Java application he created is used by many colleges, and was cited by the American Mathematical Society. He spent several years in the software industry as a software quality assurance analyst and consultant before coming to IPFW as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Geosciences. It is here that the current work with an LMS (WebCT Vista) and SCORM began.
