Biography
Bruce joined the CSU Chancellor's Office as CIO in 2010, moved to the California Polytechnic University campus in Pomona in 2014, and retired from the CSU in 2015. Previously, he worked in strategic consulting for Blackboard Transact, and was the CIO and then the Vice President for Business and Operations at the American Council on Education. His past experience includes senior management positions at several universities, two university systems, a foundation, and the higher education practice of a major consulting firm. He has been active in professional associations throughout his career. He earned an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
