Ray Frohlich

Biography

Raymond ("Ray") Frohlich is Director of Client Services and IT Operations for Yale University Library, leading enterprise systems, research computing, and digital workplace strategy for a $10M+ portfolio. He served as Acting Senior Director from February 2024 to April 2025. With 25+ years at the intersection of information technology, libraries, and research, his work focuses on human-centered digital environments and practical problem-solving. Before Yale, he directed technology at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and New York University. He holds an M.P.S. from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program and co-chairs the NERCOMP Leadership Ecosystem Committee.
