Biography
I earned my PhD in Counseling Psychology in 1999 and became licensed as a psychologist in 2000. I began as a staff psychologist at a regional comprehensive university. Over the years I have had the opportunity to direct Student Counseling Services, Student Health Services, and Student Health and Wellness Education. I have over six years experience as an AVP and have supervised the departments I have previously directed as well as Student Disability Services, University Recreation, and Veteran's Services. I also have more than 10 years experience in private practice specializing in the treatment of trauma and other mental health conditions. I am passionate about the wellbeing of persons, places and the planet and strive every day to apply whole systems approaches to improve the lives of people and create compassionate and caring communities.
