Biography

I am a recently graduated CS student working as an Educational Technology Support Assistant at Berea college. My position requires me to provide various courseware support and other educational technologies needs that can be used to enhance the teaching and learning experience for Berea College students, faculty, and staff. This includes providing support for faculty technology needs and special projects with the Moodle and Projector Coordinator, assisting the College’s faculty in educational technology initiatives and implementing new tools, and conducting group and one-on-one faculty training sessions.

I have a longstanding interest in Educational Technology, as the availability of online educational resources is what allowed me to teach myself during my childhood when I did not have access to traditional schooling. Going forward, I hope to contribute to the continued development and accessibility of digital educational resources to continue to benefit students with a variety of circumstances. I am currently researching various options for graduate studies focused in Educational Technology and hope to use this opportunity to learn more about possibilities for that goal.
