Biography

Dr. Reginald Brumfield is Chief Information Officer at Lone Star College and a seasoned technology executive with more than 27 years of leadership experience across higher education, healthcare, municipal government, and global enterprise environments. He has a proven track record of leading complex technology initiatives that align strategy, innovation, and operational excellence.

He has held senior CIO and executive IT leadership roles at Lone Star Colllege, Houston Christian University, the University of St. Thomas, Gulf Coast Center Healthcare Services, and the City of Houston, as well as global organizations including Chevron and AIG. His experience includes digital transformation, ERP modernization, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and service delivery improvement.

Dr. Brumfield holds a Doctorate in IT Organizational Leadership, an MBA in Technology Management, and a BS in Computer Information Systems.
