Rich Mock

Biography

Mr. Richard V. Mock is an IT consultant working in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He recently served as an enterprise strategic architect for the Missile Defense Agency. Previously he served as an adjunct faculty member at Colorado Technical University and National American University where he taught information technology management courses. He retired from federal civil service as the United States Air Force Academy Chief Information Officer where he was responsible for implementing the provisions of the Information Technology Management Reform Act and the principle information technology advisor to USAFA leadership. He served as a change agent to improve operations and service delivery through the effective use of information technology. Mr. Mock entered federal service as a communication systems installation engineer at Griffiss Air Force Base, New York. Since then, he's served in nine positions at six locations including deputy program manager, communications architect, division chief, acquisition staff, satellite communications expert, and technical advisor. Mr. Mock holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from the State University of New York at StonyBrook and two Masters degrees: one in Management Science from Binghamton, NY and another in Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University.
