Biography

Rick Myers is a 30-year veteran of the IT industry with extensive experience in Operational Management for the Mobile Telecommunications industry.  Rick has worked at GTE Data Services, IBM, Syniverse Technologies and made a recent move to UMA Education, Inc and is now the senior director overseeing the engineering and information security teams at Ultimate Medical Academy.  He holds a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida.  He has a passion for cybersecurity as it pertains to the higher education institution and strives to help educate others in the industry on the best practices he has developed over his career.
