Biography
At Lev Bais Yaakov High School, a private, all-girls, Jewish school located in Brooklyn, NY, Rivka Oratz serves as the Principal. She took on this position in 2010, which is when the High School was established. Lev Bais Yaakov High School is dedicated to the growth and development of responsible students, who will take their place as leaders in their communities, strengthening Jewish identity and commitment wherever they go. As the School’s Principal, Mrs. Oratz has ensured multifaceted student development through curricular and co-curricular programming, as well as a history of success in building a positive school culture among staff, students and parents that fosters high academic intensity synthesized with a love of Yiddishkeit, emotional and social growth, and an enthusiastic determination to achieve.
After earning her B.A. in Psychology from Adelphi University, which is widely known as Long Island's oldest university for master's and bachelor's degrees, and was named best college by Princeton Review, she began her Master’s Studies in Jewish Education from Azrieli Graduate School.
