Biography
Rob Speer is an Associate Director for Administrative Systems at the University of Chicago. His areas of expertise are in administrative management and recharge systems for campus facilities as well as voice and data networking. Recent projects include the development of cost allocation modeling for the campus data center, short and long term financial modeling on the impact of different proxies for networking expenses, and addressing customer facing issues on the rollout of a new voice mail system. Over the years he has served multiple terms on the PaeTec's Pinnacle Advisory Board, providing guidance on best practice for back office operations in Telecommunications. Rob holds a Computer Science degree from Vanderbilt School of Engineering and is expected to receive an MBA with a concentration in Analytical Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business this Fall.
