Biography

Bob Yanckello is a Sr. Director, Analyst  at Gartner where his research area is Higher Education technology strategies focused on administrative and enterprise systems for higher education, with particular reference to Student Information Systems, CIO and IT management issues, process management and cloud computing in higher Education.

Prior to joining Gartner. Mr. Yanckello had a 28 year career in higher Education primarily at Central Connecticut State University and the University of Central Florida (UCF). His tenure as CTO at UCF included an 18-month interim role at the College of Medicine & UCF Health Clinic. Bob worked at Central Connecticut State University, from 1989 to 2004, where he held various positions, including Director of Institutional Research, ERP Project Manager and CIO.  As a former CIO and CTO he managed diverse information technology environments and directed a broad spectrum of integrated administrative and academic applications. He has direct experience working with senior leaders developing strategy and delivering operational results.
