Bob Baird, Associate Vice President, Information Technology, joined United Educators (UE) in July 2004. He has more than 30 years experience in management and leadership roles. Baird served 20 years as an active duty officer in the U.S. Navy (1982-2002) and later worked at IBM Business Consulting Services (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting) in the higher education and e-learning practices group (2002-2004).
Baird has served as an adjunct faculty member and faculty mentor for University of Phoenix Online (1998-2002) and the University of Maryland University College (2002- present).
He is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional), an ABCP (Associate Business Continuity Planner), a certified Olweus Bullying Prevention Trainer, a Red Cross certified CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor, holds a Masters of Business Administration from George Washington University, a Masters of Science for the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Western Michigan University.
