Biography

Robert Casarez serves as Academic Technologies Specialist with the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) at the University of Notre Dame.  Beyond his regular duties as an academic technologies expert, he co-leads the Diversity & Inclusion efforts for the OIT, teaches courses on Learning with AI, and serves as vice president for Notre Dame's Latinx faculty and staff association.  He has served in various roles at the University of Notre Dame over the last 17 years, including Assistant Director for Residence Life and Housing and Senior Business and Technical Specialist for Auxiliary Operations.  

Robert has a BBA from the University of Notre Dame, an MSIS from Texas A&M International, and a Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University.
