Biography

Bob Soulliere helps lead the amazing IT team at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).  In his current role of Asst. Vice President for Digital Services and Solutions, Bob leads IT’s front facing services that make up Client Services (Help Desk, Life Cycle Mgt., Field Services, Training, RebelCard Services) and the Instructional Technology Services (Classroom Technology, eLearning Technology, Computer Labs) teams.  In his “other duties as assigned” category, He also leads many of the IT units shenanigans and “unauthorized” adventures.

Bob is a servant leader who began his professional career in Youth Ministry and somehow wound up in Information Technology.  Along the way he dabbled in Web Development, Accessibility, and Instructional Technology before abandoning all of his hopes and dreams and embraced the mantle of convincing really smart people that it doesn’t need to be this hard.

With 20 years in higher ed, Bob has found a niche at the intersection of Academics, Administration, and Technology. Serving at institutions big and small, for profit, non-profit, and state he brings a unique view of the world  and the “fundamental interconnectedness of all things…”
