Biography

Since 2020, I have served as the Assistant Provost for Strategic Analysis at VT within the Office of Analytics & Institutional Effectiveness. Three units comprise the AIE office: Strategic Analysis, Decision Support Services, and Institutional Effectiveness. My unit is responsible for institutional research functions, and in collaboration with DSS, the support and operation of our analytic platform, the University DataCommons. Prior to joining VT, I served as a professor of Wildlife Conservation for 10 years at the University of Rio Grande where my research focus was ecological modeling and biogeography.
