Robert Hughes

Biography

Robert Hughes is Division Chair for Computer Technology at Clark College, the community college serving SW Washington. He is responsible in the oversight of six professional-technical at the college. He is especially interested in the impacts of new media and technology, information fluency, and the instruction of foundational skills in computing that will promote success for students, regardless of their discipline or career goals. Robert was involved in the development of Clark's credit-bearing user-oriented Internet course, which was one of the first in the US. He has been involved in the campus IT committee and strategic planning initiatives involving Information Technology at the college over the years. He has earned degrees from Clark College and The Evergreen State College.
