Bob Hughes

Biography

Bob Hughes is currently the Enterprise Data Architect in the Information Technology Services Department at California State University, East Bay. His career spans over thirty years in Administrative Systems which has included adjunct faculty teaching assignments at a number of San Francisco Bay Area Colleges and Universities. Present Adjunct Faculty assignments are at the University of California Berkeley Extension and Golden Gate University Ageno Graduate School of Business. Current course offerings include Predictive Data Analytics and Data Mining and Technology Applications in Human Capital Management Systems. His work in Compensation Systems has been extensive with assignments in both the private and public sectors and has developed both internal and commercial Compensation Systems. Consulting assignments have been in education, health care, insurance, financial and other industries in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Hughes has worked professionally as a Business Systems Analyst, Database Architect/Administrator, Systems Integration Consultant and Educator in a wide range of computing environments. Consulting has included planning and conversion to large scale ERP applications, LAN Design, Systems Integration and Database ETL, Database and Data Warehouse Design and Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
