Biography
Bob Johnson is Duke’s Senior Director of Communications Infrastructure and Global Strategies. In this role, he is responsible for the converged communication infrastructure (voice, video and data communications) across Duke's domestic and international footprint, as well as the continued progression of Duke's global IT strategies.
Previously, Bob served as Dartmouth College’s director of network services from 2002 through 2005. At Dartmouth, he led nationally recognized efforts to develop the first fully converged voice/video wired and wireless networks.
Prior to joining Dartmouth, Bob worked at Global Crossing as senior data solution director for the Northeast and Midwest. He previously served as director of network service/telecom at the University System of New Hampshire and as telecommunications/network manager for Hofstra University.
Bob holds a B.A. in economics from SUNY Stony Brook.
