Bob Woelfel

Biography

Mr. Woelfel has diverse management experience in program management, consulting, and process re-engineering. He has led teams of IT technical professionals to design, develop, and implement business solutions across a wide range of architectural platforms. Recently he was part of project office for a 320-person IT organization tailoring the 10-phase project management methodology, providing project management consulting, and leading the effort to assess the organization's Software Engineering Institute (SEI)Capability Maturity Model (CMM) level. His current assignment is manager of systems and programming for the UNT Health Science Center in Ft. Worth and a technical project manager for the UNT System's multi-year ERP application implementation.

His professional interests are in providing outstanding customer service, making the workplace a fun place to be, and understanding the underlying reasons why so many IT industry projects fail. Married to his high school sweetheart for 37 years, he recently completed an 8-mile leg of a marathon in 67 minutes.
