Rob Vanderlan

Biography

Dr. Robert Vanderlan is executive director for the Center for Teaching Innovation at Cornell University, leading a team that supports innovative, student-centered, evidence-based efforts to create vibrant and inclusive learning environments. Most recently, Rob has helped lead the Center for Teaching Innovations response to emergency remote, in-person, and online teaching. Rob graduated from Cornell with a bachelor’s degree in government, holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan, and a doctorate in U.S. history from the University of Rochester.
