Biography

I currently serve as the Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing and Chief Communications Officer for the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In this role, I lead a team of digital media specialists, content creators, storytellers, and graphic designers. My responsibilities include the marketing, branding, and communications strategies for services and projects for the Office and the CIO. During my tenure at the university, I have been a communicator on several cross-campus and University System efforts such as Unified Communications in 2013-2014, the Wireless Expansion and Upgrade project in 2016-2017, and the TeamDynamix implementation in 2021-2022, and the Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams transition in 2022-2023.
