Roberta Ambur
Biography
Roberta joined The University of South Dakota in August 2001 as Chief Information Officer. Her responsibilities include Technology Services, Information Services, and Internet Services. She chairs the Information Technology Advisory Council. Over the past twenty years Roberta has served as Comptroller of Sorenson Broadcasting, a company that operated radio stations in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota. She held various administrative positions in the utility industry with Midwest Power Systems Inc. and South Dakota Network Tele-Communications. In 1996 Roberta became Chief Business Officer at Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota prior to joining USD.A graduate of USD with a Bachelor of Science in Math Education, Ambur received her CPA certificate in 1986 and her MBA with emphasis in Management Information Systems from USD in 1994.EDUCAUSE Presentations
