Biography
Assistant Professor/Senior Librarian – Digital Learning, Research & Instruction Librarian, Head of Portland Center Library, George Fox University, Portland, Oregon USA
Robin has over 20 years experience in academic libraries. She serves in the position of Digital Learning, Research & Instruction Librarian at George Fox University (GFU) Portland Center. Robin is also the project manager for the library textbook affordability program, which she began when internal grant funding was secured by submitting an open textbook (OER) initiative proposal written by Robin and the library's director of digital learning.
In addition, Robin teaches graduate and adult students online as an adjunct instructor for the GFU College of Education and adult degree completion programs. Her credit bearing courses are on educational technology, digital identity development, digital literacy/fluency, social media, and grant writing. Robin also presents on mobile and emerging technology. She shares her presentations on Slideshare, and regularly shares and connects on twitter.
