Biography

I'm a systems librarian with 25+ years of experience in academic libraries. I have worked with the Ex Libris Voyager and Alma systems since they were first brought online in the University System of Georgia. I have worked closely with critical library software such as OpenAthens, EZproxy, ILLiad, Deep Freeze. Endnote, and PC Reservation. I have experience with library instruction, reference, and collection development.

I'm currently the Director for Library Technology & Systems at Augusta University, an institution that was created by the consolidation of the former Augusta State University and Georgia Health Sciences University. In my current role, I oversee the technology at both the Reese Library (undergraduate) and Greenblatt Library (health sciences). In addition, I am the liaison to the Hull College of Business and work closely with their faculty and students to provide library services. Recent accomplishments include the successful launch of Alma/Primo for the two institutions and implementing ADFS authentication with Duo for GALILEO access.
