Biography

I'm PDF expert, software architect and engineer (C++ expert). Hacker with more than 20 years of experiences with designing, writing, optimising and maintaining software and SDKs. Technologist and team leader able to manage development processes. Always keen to guide and teach people around, happy to see them grow and shine.

I strongly believe in open standards, interoperability and standardized approaches. As an active participant in PDF Association (pdfa.org) and ISO (ISO 171/SC2) I help develop PDF (ISO 32000), substandards based on PDF and as subject matter expert I guide companies properly design and implement them.

With special interest in PDF future, content reuse, data exchange and accessibility I help driving activities around PDF/UA, responsive PDF, pdf validation

I researched and run projects that all have in common pdf, image and text processing, OCR, computer graphics, cryptography and have experiences with a various open source libraries on all platforms.
