I have worked over 32 years in higher education, touching most areas of IT through managing areas and also implementing a large majority of our campus enterprise applications, spanning both the IT area and across the divisions of the university. Currently, I am Director, IT Special Prujects. I project manage, manage our information security/cybersecurity area, am the GLBA designated official for our institition, manage the telephone area, oversee the technical area of our 500 seat theater and other miscallaneouls responsibilties.
I am currently co-lead of EDUCAUSE's Regulated Information Security Compliance community group and participate in a number of other community groups. I am a member of the EDUCAUSE Cybersecurity and Privacy Program Advisory Committee.
I am a member of NJ Edge's Security Community of Practice and have served on a number of conference committees and, in the past, chaired a statewide activity group in NJ focusing on educational technology, the Educational Activities Task Force, for several years.
