Since 1997, I have proudly served student populations in multiple positions with growing responsibilities within Colleges of Business, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Education, and Nursing.  Within each of these colleges, I acquired an extensive amount of leadership experience in marketing, recruitment, retention, strategic planning, accreditation, academic advising, enrollment management, tutoring, and admissions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels while forming key relationships among vendors and stakeholders. My personal mission is to empower and encourage students to reach their full potential and as a student advocate, I am devoted to managing projects that foster students’ development.

Throughout my higher education career, I have continuously sought out innovative and creative ways to promote and serve students by ‘thinking outside the box.’ Bringing about awareness of the many programs and services available to the community at large has always been a challenge. Marketing and advertising are as critical operations as faculty instruction and student services.

My demonstrated ability to create and sustain relationships among faculty, staff, and administrators has contributed to improving the operational effectiveness of the institutions I have served. Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders has enhanced awareness, visibility, office operations and processes, contributing to supporting strategic initiatives and improved fiscal responsibility. During my higher education career, I have been fortunate to work with many talented and hardworking faculty and staff and together, we have accomplished significant growth and change. I am proud to have played a leadership role in these efforts.

My research interests include enrollment management, branding, eLearning, marketing strategy, higher education, qualitative methodologies, leadership, integrated marketing communications, gamification, student behavior, sales management, purchase decision-making process, and operations management.
