Rosalind King

Biography

Dr. Rosalind R. King is recognized for her outstanding work in the planning, implementation, development, and deployment of IT enterprise systems. Since 1997, Dr. King’s career in IT has advanced at Kennesaw State University where she excels in the management of enterprise systems performance, data privacy, and security. Dr. King earned her Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Knowledge Management from Walden University. Her dissertation, “Assessing College Students’ Desire to Enhance Global Learning Competencies,” was presented at Walden University 2012 Winter Research Symposium. Dr. King was awarded the Possible Woman Foundation Scholarship Award to pursue her Ph.D. degree at Walden University. Her membership with EDUCAUSE and The Sloan Consortium gives her the opportunity to advance her research interests. Dr. King uses her years of experience as an IT professional and her Ph.D. degree to advance the rights and protection of women and girls. She was born in Detroit, MI and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1974. She is a proud mother of son Jason and daughter Rosanna.
