Ross MacIntyre
Biography
ROSS MacINTYRE currently works within MIMAS, the UK National Data Centre at the University of Manchester, where he is the Service Manager for: the ‘ISI Web of Knowledge Service for UK Education’, ‘Zetoc’, developed by MIMAS in collaboration with the British Library, and ‘UK PubMed Central’. He is responsible for Digital Library research activities, including the provision of R&D services to publishers and formal involvement with Dublin Core and OpenURL standards development. He was responsible for the technical development work associated with both the National Electronic Site Licence Initiative (NESLI), in collaboration with Swets and the JSTOR mirror service at MIMAS. Ross has been an elected member of the UK Serials Group Committee (UKSG) since April 2000 and served as the group’s Education Officer. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board of COUNTER, the online usage statistics initiative.EDUCAUSE Presentations
