Russell Kurtz

Biography

Russ Kurtz is Principal and CTO of CS Technology. He has experience managing diverse groups and interests to develop comprehensive and cost-saving Data Center strategies, including growth and cost projections. He is also expert at defining business case analyses that affect decisions regarding technology investments through an in-depth understanding of complex technical issues, their interrelationships, and economic effects. Prior to CS Technology, Russ worked at AT&T, where he helped develop the strategy for deploying the first commercially successful terrestrial DWDM fiber optic systems. Russ holds a Ph.D. in Physics (Relativity) from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S.E.E from Purdue University. He is also a PE in the state of New York.
