Biography

Ryan Cherland is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Institutional Research and Decision Support at the University of California, Irvine since 2012. Ryan has over 30 years of experience in institutional research and is active in several professional organizations as well as state and university committees dealing with institutional research, decision support, and data management issues. He current is the treasurer of CAIR and is a past president of MidAIR, both regional professional organizations for institutional research. He has a Ph.D. in higher education administration from the University of Kansas and holds a master's degree from California State University, San Bernardino in industrial/organizational psychology.
