Biography

I'm the Manager of Web Services at Illinois Central College, a community college in central Illinois, where I oversee icc.edu, our institutional intranet, and platforms including WordPress and Canvas LMS. My work sits at the intersection of web development, marketing technology, and institutional strategy — which in practice means I spend a lot of time translating between developers, marketers, admissions staff, and administrators, and occasionally all four in the same meeting. I'm currently working to evolve the department into a Digital Experience Office, with a focus on building the systems, governance structures, and cross-functional relationships that make sustainable digital work possible at a resource-constrained institution.

My interests in the EDUCAUSE community center on higher ed MarTech ecosystems (CRM, analytics, content governance), accessible and human-centered web design, devops, and how smaller institutions can punch above their weight digitally without burning out the two-person team responsible for all of it.
