The evolving technologies committee is charged with identifying and monitoring evolving technologies and their impact on higher education institutions.
Dr. Saiid Ganjalizadeh serves as a full time faculty member in Virginia International University’s School of Computer Information Systems. Prior to joining VIU’s faculty, Dr. Ganjalizadeh has been an active member of the Washington DC E-Leaning Advisory Council and Instructional Technologist and led the initiatives in LMS selection, classroom pedagogy assistance, system administrator support, one-on-one faculty development, computer workshops, and beta testing/recommendations for all educational technology at the Catholic University of America. With more than 20 years of experience in academia, distance education, and LMS/Instructional Design, Dr. Ganjalizadeh will be supporting the Dean of Computer Information Systems at Virginia International University. Dr. Ganjalizadeh received his Ph.D. in Information Technology from George Mason University and an M.S. in Management Science from University of Tennessee. Over the years he has taught courses in Computer Science and MIS at The Catholic University of America, Virginia International University, and Northern Virginia Community College. A Washington D.C. area native, Dr. Ganjalizadeh is happily married with 2 sons.
