Biography

Sally PW Wu, PhD (she/they/ta) is the Assistant Director, Educational Technology at Center for Teaching and Learning at Washington University in St. Louis. Sally has extensive experience collaborating with instructors and institutional partners to design and implement effective, equitable, and innovative uses educational technologies in higher education, including digital technologies and classroom technologies. She also evaluates and advises on the affordances and challenges for technologies across departments and schools at Washington University. In addition, she serves as an Academic Consultant to help launch Musizi University, the first liberal arts college in Uganda, and an Adjunct Lecturer, teaching an asynchronous online course for non-traditional students, allowing her to integrate interactive, learner-centered activities into her teaching. She works remotely from Los Angeles, California, where she is thankful for the lack of traffic on her short commute to her office in the dining room.
