Biography
Sandeep Basnet is currently working as a Sr. manager of Financial Strategy and Planning Systems at Harvard University. He is primarily responsible for managing, enhancing and supporting budgeting and planning applications that provides an enterprise platform for many key processes including operational budgeting and forecasting, interim reporting, long range planning, tuition/enrollment/financial aid planning, capital planning and capital project approvals.
Prior to Harvard, Sandeep worked in the healthcare industry focusing on strategic planning, financial management, clinical development and process standardization. The major highlights of his career in the healthcare industry includes successfully created and implemented a clinical variation and standardization program that contributed $8.7M in net revenue/net cost savings in 2 years, successfully managed the upgrade of EMR system and assisted in building $21M state-of-the-art Cancer Center.
He holds an MBA with the concentration in Finance, a Master of Science in Information Systems, a Bachelor in Business Administration, a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) Certificate and a Society for Information Management (SIM) Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) graduate.
