Sandra Poindexter is a professor of Computer Information Systems at Northern Michigan University. A desire to be informed on the changes in her discipline has kept her actively researching and publishing new topics. A dedication to all areas of innovations in teaching and applying technology to education has led to participation in the university laptop initiative and long-term studies on Internet integration by faculty and students. As past chair and current member of the university Teaching & Learning Advisory Committee, she works to promote excellence in teaching.
