Sara Kearns

Biography

Sara K. Kearns is the Instruction Coordinator at Kansas State University Libraries. She coordinates basic library instruction offered to undergraduate students, primarily through walk-in classes and online modules. Through her interest in student learning, Sara has become involved in learning space design at K-State. She currently serves on the Humanities Commons SWAT and is chairing a committee that will be designing new learning space in the main campus library. Prior to being the Instruction Coordinator, Sara was the Business-Economics Librarian at K-State and previous to that she was a librarian for a law firm in Washington, D.C. She earned her Master's of Library Science from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and a B.A. in English from Kansas State University.
