Sara Rodgers serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Lehigh University located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She is responsible for both Information Security and Policy as well as Identity and Access Management, two previously separate function areas that were merged in 2013. Prior to this, she was the Manager of Identity and Access Management, and was responsible for implementing Oracle Identity Manager. She has been at Lehigh University for thirteen years where she has also managed the Client Services Team supporting the administration and all other non-academic areas of the University.
In her current role which reports directly to the Chief Information Officer, she collaborates with the Information Security and Policy Officer to ensure that administrative and technical safeguards are in place for the University. To this end, the Security Team works closely with University General Counsel, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Campus Police, and Data Stewards as well as the System and Networking Administration Analysts and Enterprise Implementation System Analysts. She also continues to administer the account and access functions of Identity and Access Management.
Sara has presented at ACM SIGUCCS Conferences on implementing Oracle Identity Manager, full disk encryption, universal imaging, role-based content in portals, and supporting mobile devices, and served as a panelist on Oracle Identity Manager in Higher Education at Oracle Open World in San Francisco.
