Biography
Sarah Lohnes is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology at Towson University (MD), where she teaches courses on technology integration for pre-service teachers, instructional design, and foundational issues in instructional technology. Her research interests center on the literacy and technology practices of undergraduate students, with a particular focus on students at the margins of the "Net Gen;" Web 2.0 and Learn 2.0. She has also served as a consultant in technology and pedagogy to the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education where she developed and taught workshops and programs on social software, computer-mediated communication, and new media studies for college faculty, students, and instructional technology professionals.
