Sarah Learman

Biography

Dr. Sarah Learman has worked as a Teaching and Learning Consultant in the Office of Curriculum and Instructional Support (CIS) since 2020. Previously, Sarah served as full-time fixed term faculty, a Lecturer III, in Central Michigan University’s Department of Biology and Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and also as a content and instructional resource advisor for Macmillan Learning. Before coming to CMU, Sarah was respectively a postdoctoral fellow and postdoctoral associate at Boston Biomedical Research Institute and Tufts Medical School. Sarah holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the Department of Biological Sciences, in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental biology from Virginia Tech, as well as a Future Professoriate Graduate Certificate, also from Virginia Tech. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, 2 children, and dog.
