Biography

Scott Blanks has been acting and directing professionally for three decades. He is currently a Professor of Theatre at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. A Native Ameri­can (Lumbee) from Pembroke, North Carolina, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre (Acting) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and his Master of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre (Acting) from the University of South Carolina, Columbia.

He serves Benedict College as a Professor of Theatre and Speech, Director for the Center for Teaching and Learning, and the Senior Class Advisor.
