Scott Garrison is Associate Dean for Public Services and Technology at Western Michigan University Libraries. He directs a group of professionals dedicated to applying technology to solve problems and achieve goals library-wide. Scott earned a Master of Library Science degree at UCLA, and worked in library systems for ten years prior to his previous position as Title III Project Manager at Central Michigan University. He was an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he co-taught a course on open source software in libraries.
