Biography

Scott Himes currently serves as Director, Network Operations for Biola University in La Mirada, California. His team oversees all voice, data, & security-related network infrastructure for the university’s 95-acre campus, including wired and wireless networks, internet service, phone system, underground cable plant, card access, security cameras, panic buttons, and datacenter/teledata facilities. Scott and his team work closely with Biola’s Facilities Management and Campus Safety teams, helping to improve the campus network infrastructure as well as the process of defining the technology requirements necessary to design, plan, and build the appropriate network infrastructure solutions.
