Scott Rial

Biography

Scott Rial's main role at the College of Lake County is assisting faculty, staff, and students in creating and participating in online courses. He is one of the system administrators for the Blackboard course management system. Scott also plays an active role in providing instructional design and recommendations for technology integration in face to face classes throughout the college. Scott works closely with the college’s Teaching and Learning Center providing a variety of technology training to faculty and staff on topics including Web design, Office programs, and specialty applications. Finally, Scott is an adjunct faculty member in the College of Lake County’s Cisco Networking Academy program where he instructs students to prepare them to take their CCNA certification exam. Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry at Augustana College and went on to Western Illinois University where he completed a Masters in Instructional Technology and Telecommunications.
