PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
VP of Information Technology - WesTower Communications, Orlando, FL (2012 – Present)
• Member of SLT, and led the enterprise IT strategic planning, tactical operation planning, and the development of contingency IT operation plans for production, development, QA and other environments, resulting in a clearly defined multi-year technology roadmap.
• Led the technical aspects of a complete transformation from on premise infrastructure and operations to the cloud. This includes SSO/Identity management, mail migration from Exchange to Microsoft 365, and local/corporate storage to Microsoft’s one-drive and SharePoint online, and migration from physical and VMWare/Citrix virtualized environments over to Amazon’s AWS cloud platform, resulting in nearly a 30% IT reduction in spend annually
• Implemented Data Governance, KPI, Executive Dashboards, Security, and Strategic Design of Infrastructure, Cloud/Local Storage, Data Centers, and all systems. Established weekly executive dashboards citing metrics on server and systems performance, utilization, capacity, trends, etc.
• Delivered nearly 25% reduction in IT spends while increasing business value, efficiency, stability, and availability, of systems and processes.
• Turned around system operations to achieve and maintain over 99.9% system availability and remediation of all prior IT General Controls issues. This effort was calculated at over 300% improvement in critical system areas.
• Lead the application Development & Infrastructure Systems teams to facilitate enterprise application architecture initiatives, and seamless non-stop production computing to the organization. This included daily JAD sessions, programming standards, and in-house development of 6 multi-channel mobile and field collection applications, saving the company over $200K in annual spend.
• Developed and implemented standards, procedures, best practices and business processes for all aspect of the enterprise IT infrastructure, including information security and data protection, resulting in significant savings and improvements in efficiency. Director of Information Technology - ZeroChaos, Orlando, FL (2010 – 2012)
• Created a 2-Year Strategic Infrastructure Roadmap for the company’s SaaS, services, and desktop business development needs including High-Availability, Disaster Recovery and Contingency planning, and Capacity planning initiatives. This resulted the approval of a $3.4m annual budget and the appropriate staffing.
• Streamlined the organization’s VMware, high-availability storage, and server management resulting in a 35% physical hardware reduction, and streamlined the overall performance of the hosting environment, saving the company nearly $1m annually.
• Architected and deployed multiple Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies based on RPO and RTO objectives and business goals, saving the organization a calculated $113K per day in lost productivity in the event of a catastrophic disaster..
• Responsible for 24x7x365 delivery for over 100 Windows and Linux servers servicing the SaaS services, back-office, infrastructure, and company initiatives.

• Created a 5-Year Technology Roadmap, for this 1,200 person electronic contract manufacturing organization, identifying the technical strategies to support strategic vision, planning and business development needs. Full-charge responsibility for Application Development teams and contractors, developing primarily on Classic ASP, VB.Net, and SharePoint International software solutions
• Deployed International video conferencing solutions saving over $100K annually. Deployed VMware resulting in an 80% physical hardware reduction, and streamlined the remaining physical and virtual 100 servers in 4 data centers, leveraging high availability and non-stop computing strategies with SLA provisions
