Sean Bossinger

Biography

Sean Bossinger is a dynamic, service-focused leader with more than 27 years of Information Technology experience spanning the domains of Higher Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, and the Nuclear Power industries. He is focused on developing team members and colleagues alike to work collaboratively to meet the research, teaching, and service missions of the university.

He currently serves as the Assistant Director of User Services for the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) at University of Wisconsin - Madison. In this role, he leads an exceptional group of 90 full-time and student employees who provide phenomenal customer service through three distinct enterprise-level services for the central IT group on campus: The IT Help Desk, KnowledgeBase, and IT Service Management tools. Additionally, Sean co-chairs a campus-wide team promoting the teaching of leadership concepts through the use of principles of improvisational comedy, bringing a fun perspective to leadership education.

Sean is a graduate of the MOR Associates Information Technology Leadership Program. He holds Foundation and Intermediate cerfiticates (Service Offerings and Agreements) in ITIL, and was a Certified Novell Engineer. He graduated with a Baccalaureate of Arts degree from the University of Florida in German Language and Literature.
