Sean has over six years of higher education security related experience and is a recent addition to the OU IT Security team. Sean holds two security certifications: Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and Global Information Assurance Security Essentials Certification (GSEC). Sean is active in the local chapter of the High Technology Computer Investigators Association.
Sean has been involved in IT security for 3 years and Law Enforcement computer crime investigation for 4 years with an emphasis on computer forensics and incident response. He has received forensic investigation training by the National White Collar Crime Center and Guidance Software and has conducted forensic examinations for criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings.
Sean's current focus is on managing the OU Honeynet Project, incident response, and computer forensics.
